The mysqltest_safe_process binary is required by the test runner, but the script does not look for it in client_bindir, so it does not work when test-specific binaries are not installed on the system path (as in native Ubuntu packaging).

How to repeat:
Try to run mtr tests with all clients in a path specified by --client-bindir

Fixed in 8.0.18.

Work was done for test suite. No changelog entry required.
