Description: Hello Error: connection closed during transaction, giving up after 3 times. Dear Sir, I am using server version MySql 4.1.0-alpha-log and Connecto/J 3.0.8 I suspect I found a bug in the connector/J - I have 4 databases and after connecting to 3, the 4th one wouldn't connect... turned out the driver wasn't accepting more than 4 characters for the db name. feel free to contact for further details. Kind regards Carlos How to repeat: Have a tomcat server start 4 web apps, each of each connecting a different database in a MySQL server 4.1.0-alpha-log. The forth connection fails, if that 4th particular database name is longer than 4 characters. Suggested fix: don't know...
