Description:
I have a Windows XP machine running MySQL 5.0.2-alpha-nt-max The MySQL Query Browser version is 1.1.6. I get a error each time I try connecting the the database through the query browser, and the mysql service is stopped. Both the server and query browser are running on the same machine.

How to repeat:
These are the parameters i pass to the query browser
Server Host: localhost
port: 3306
username: root
password: xxxxxxx
schema: test

And when It tries to fetch data from the database, mysql crashes and the service is stopped.

Thanks for the quick response, but Isnt 1.1.6 the latest version. Atleast that is the only version available on the dowloads page http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/query-browser/1.1.html
This product would be extremely useful, I would really appreciate if you could help address this problem.

Thank you

Sorry I didn't changed the category bug, this isn't a Query Browser bug
instead is a server bug, the latest version you need is the server 5.0.3.
