Description:
On entering invalid SQL in a View whilst modelling, pressing save, or clicking outside the SQL window, the program crashes.

This does not occur when connected to a server and creating a view there.

How to repeat:
Create a new model, and create a view. Alter the default SQL to be invalid.

Click save, or click outside the DDL entry window.

Suggested fix:
Should show an error, not crash the program.

This issue applies to the legacy MySQL Workbench 8.x implementation that is no longer supported or maintained.
MySQL Workbench 26.7 is a complete rewrite using a new technology stack and does not use the affected legacy implementation.
Therefore, this issue is not applicable to the current MySQL Workbench product and as such is closed.
