Posted by developer: Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL for Visual Studio 1.2.9 release, and here's the changelog entry: MySQL for Visual Studio now supports all editions of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019. In addition, this release removes support for Visual Studio versions 2012 and 2013. Thank you for the bug report.

Take your time, maybe by 2021 when the next VS is to release we should see some support for 2019...
