Description:
I downloaded the file from several locations, using both HTTP and FTP.
In all cases Adobe Acrobat (5.0 on NT 4.0) and Adobe Reader (6.0 on XP) give the following errors.

"This fileis damaged but is being repaired"

"There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

However, the file manual.pdf does *not* show this problem.

How to repeat:
Open the file in Acrobat or Reader.

Verified using Acrobat 6.0.3

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has already been fixed
in the latest released version of that product, which you can download at
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

Additional info:

A4 manual is fixed now. It might take a while for
the corrected version to propagate to all mirrors.
