Description:
Trying to install the server option in the installer (have also tried other options available) on a new HP ZBook Studio x360 G5, with Visual C++ 2013 dist. and C++ 2015 as well.

How to repeat:
Install visual studio c++ 2013, install mysql installer 8.0.15

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat the issue reported however I noticed it's not first time that similar issue was reported the install fails in same place like yours, some users commented a workaround to re-install and selecting custom, and in Product/Features To be installed uncheck the Server data files.

problem solved using installation without data files
