Description:
A table has a unique ID row... a key column. The changes are made to other columns.
For the first change, the unique ID is included in the query, as "WHERE key_column_name = 1;", but then after making a change to another row, the executed script is MISSING THE KEY COLUMN!!!!
It only shows as "WHERE ;"
I have reported this bug before, but without tracing the problem to the SECOND attempt at changing a row.
To avoid this glitch, I need to re-execute the query (the lightning-bolt icon) before making additional changes.

How to repeat:
Do as I described.
Even though the key column values are displaying in the table after the first update has been run, it's as though they do not exist.

Suggested fix:
Re-run the query automatically, or just remember what the key column values are.

Hello Bryce Morrison,

Thank you for the report.
I could not reproduce this issue at my end on WB 8.0.16 and with dummy test case. Are you still seeing this issue with latest WB i.e WB 8.0.16? If yes then may I request you to provide exact table structure and subset of data to reproduce this issue at our end? Thank you.

If you can provide more information, feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to 'Open'.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

regards,
Umesh

This problem seems to be resolved by 8.0.16. I cannot reproduce this error, either.
