Description:
I often leave my laptop to sleep while MySQL Workbench is open. Sometimes when waking up the laptop again, WB asks for a password for one of the open connection tabs. If I do not wish to enter this, I try the cancel button on the login dialog, but this will only close and show the dialog again. To get out of it one has to either kill the process, or keep the Escape button pressed to continuously close the dialog, and at the same time try to close the connection tab asking for the login. However doing that the last time I tried it, WB stopped responding and I had to kill the process.

How to repeat:
See above.

Suggested fix:
Cancelling the login dialog should work as expected. The open connection tab should either be closed or rendered inavailable until a password is supplied.

Please try new version 8.0.13. Thanks.

Unfortunately 8.0.13 did not solve the problem, it still occurs.

I couldn't repeat this issue on Windows 10 Pro, please elaborate describing your environment: Kind of connection (localhost, remote), which exactly server version?. Thanks.

It happens on my work laptop with Windows 7 and connecting to a remote MariaDB which I believe runs on Linux.

Thank you for the feedback. The server MariaDB isn't supported by WorkBench.
