Description:
When I am using mysql-workbench-community-6.3.10 my database is working as expected but I use mysql-workbench-community-8.0.13 its giving me error access denied with password NO for port 33306

How to repeat:
Install mysql-workbench-community-8.0.13 

Connect DB with port 33306

than try to connect 

It throws error

Thank you for the report.
I tried to reproduce this issue at my end using MySQL Workbench 8.0.13, and connecting MySQL Server 8.0.13 hosted on a remote box and listening on port '33306' but not seeing any issues. 

If you can provide more information, feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to 'Open'.
