Do you have my exact same configuration? Windows 10 Home Python 3.7 Maybe you already have Python 3.6 installed so it's not complaining for you What about my other question Why is the default developer install failing for ODBC connector and I'm not able to connect to mysql?

The machine is a Windows 10 Pro and never was installed Python 3.6 so the version 3.7 is the first only version installed.

Well it complained for me Had you installed Python 3.7 before installing mysql? Why is the default developer install failing for ODBC connector and I'm not able to connect to mysql?
