Description:
Looking at the available options to download the MySQL Community Server 8.0.12 GA for Microsoft WIndows there's two options: downloading an installer and downloading a ZIP archive.

While the installer can install on 32-bit and 64-bit systems, there's only a ZIP archive for 64-bit systems.

How to repeat:
See Microsoft Windows releases here: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/

Suggested fix:
Make a Microsoft Windows 32-bit ZIP-archive for MySQL Community Server 8.0.12 GA available for download.

Hello Mor Dor,

Thank you for the report.
Please note that MySQL 8.0 is only available as 64-bit on Windows which can also be confirmed from the supported platform list available at - https://www.mysql.com/support/supportedplatforms/database.html

Regards,
Umesh

Thank you for responding, Umesh. Okey, I missed that page.

The reason I thought Windows 32-bit was supported was because on the download page I linked to in "How to repeat" it says the installer is a "Windows (x86, 32 & 64-bit), MySQL Installer MSI" installer.

I get now that maybe because you can use the installer to install other MySQL related products and they might still support Windows 32-bit it wouldn't be entirely wrong to say the installer installs 32-bit programs.

I do think it's a bit confusing though, and not that obvious.

But thank you again, Umesh.
