Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Unfortunately you are not using a current version of the product you reported a problem with -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new version MySQL Workbench 6.3.10 or MySQL Workbench 8.0.11 rc from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions, please provide exact SQL statement which is showing the problem and change the version on this bug report to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for your continued support of MySQL.

Hello Paul,

Could you please elaborate your problem that you are facing after up-gradation? Please make sure to launch WB with --log-level=debug3 and attach unaltered WB log for further investigations at our end. More details are here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html

Regards,
Umesh

Are you using official apt-repo or downloaded.deb from https://downloads.mysql.com? I suggest you to use MySQL's apt repo and install WB - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql-apt-repo-quick-guide/en/
How are you launching WB, from command line? Log file details are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/wb-configuring-files.html

Thanks,
Umesh
