My database was connected, as the "Server Status" and "Startup/Shutdown" can work normally. But the "Dashboard" said that "There is no connection to the MySQL Server. This functionality requires an established connection to a running MySQL server."
Earlier when I am installing the server, I chose 3308 port instead of 3306, which caused the "Startup/Shutdown" won't work. But it's fine after I configured the options. Is there a bug here? If not, how do I solve it?

Hello Tengong,

Thank you for the bug report.
I could not repeat the issue at our end using with MySQL Workbench 8.0.11 version on Windows 10.
If you can provide more information, feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to 'Open'.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Thanks,
Chiranjeevi.
