Description:
I downloaded and installed MySQL Server and MySQL Workbench from the official developer site. After installation, I get into MySQL Worckbench and try to connect to "Local instance MySQL80" but get an error. If i try create new connection, nothing changed.

How to repeat:
just open your MySQL Workcbench after install.

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat on Windows 10 Pro, are you able to connect with the command client mysql.exe, are you tried to edit the connection too?.
