Client library reports "Lost connection to MySQL server during query" error when inserting large number of BLOBs (1000++) into a database, and doing other inserts, selects too.

How to repeat:
Try it.

Are you using an adequate --max_allowed_packet=# when doing these
operations ?
[11 Mar 2005 10:20] Andris Kardos
Yes, it was the max_allowed_packet variable that was too small. The client lib could check the server's max_allowed_packet automaticall and act accordingly. Would be nicer. Thanks.
