Hello Wenjie Cai,

Thank you for the bug report.
I could not repeat the issue at our end using with MySQL workbench 8.0.11 version on Windows 10.
Could you please provide repeatable steps (exact steps, screenshots etc. - please make it as private if you prefer) to confirm this issue at our end?

Thanks,
Chiranjeevi.

Same problem here.

Previous install of Mysql 5.9, workBench 6.3c, conectors and tools.
Windows 10 pro for workstatios updated to 1803 version.
1-Uninstall all the above.
2-Brand New Install of Mysql Server 8.0.11 + mysql connector J + WorkBench 6.3ce (64 bits versions where I could choose)
3-When I try to connect to local host (on port 9918) the error message appears.

Regards
