Description:
The innodb.innodb_cats MTR test uses the DEBUG_SYNC facility, but
doesn't require it by including "include/have_debug_sync.inc". Which
leads to test failures what DEBUG_SYNC is not available in the server.

How to repeat:
Run innodb.innodb_cats on a server without DEBUG_SYNC.
