Bug #90849 in China MySQL Installer can not check category update!

Description:
my english is poor , sorry for that.

the problem is:
 
everytime when MySQL Installer check category update , it connnect to www.google.com first;
but in China ,we cannot connect to www.google.com,so i always   fail .

How to repeat:
in China  use MySQL Installer check Category update ,it will fail.

it says: no network connection.

Suggested fix:
 the update does not need to download file from www.google.com
so may be we can change the check url to mysql's cdn url.
or www.bing.com  or does not check the network connection status.

I could not repeat the issues while installing the MySQL Connector/NET 8.0.11 with Installer 1.4.25 version.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Installer 1.4.27 release, and here's the changelog entry:

A user-defined URL now can be used to validate the internet connection
required to perform certain installation tasks. For more information, see
the Connectivity Settings option in Description of MySQL Installer
Dashboard Elements.
