I need this also as I use Microsft Sql Server Integration Services. When you deploy it, it will run as a 64bit app but the development window is 32 bit so needs the 32 bit ODBC drivers as well. I have just installed MySQL 8 and the v8 driver works fine (on test). The V5.3 comes up with a caching_sha2_password plugin not available

The new version of MySQL ODBC Driver 8.0.12 is released. It includes the 32-bit version for Windows as well. The bug is closed
