Description:
i,

I'm using Workbench version 6.3.10 together with Mysql DB 5.7.9 compiled for Win64.

I'm not able to maintain users any longer.

Problem with adding account and changing privileges or password on user.

By clicking on Add Account and finally "Apply":

Error - Unhandled exception: object typr 'NoneType' has no len()

By clicking on existing user account I get following

Invalid Authentication Plugin

User xxx@% has plugin type
*CXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, which is not listed as a known authentication plugin by the server.

How to repeat:

By entering "User and privileges" in management

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat with most recent source server, please try with latest 5.7.21 (your server version is quite older).

I've just upgraded to the latest version 5.7.21 and the problem is still there.
Any other suggestion, can I repair the users someway? We are running this in production it's started to be a serious issue for us.

Hello Jan,

Thank you for the feedback.
I could not repeat the issue at our end using with MySQL workbench 6.3.10 version with MySQL 5.7.21 version.
Could you please provide us unaltered WB log (please make it as private if you prefer) to confirm this issue at our end?

Thanks,
Chiranjeevi.
