Description:
When I start up the MySQL Query Browser and connect to a server I get a 'Access violation at address 003BB920 in module 'libmysqlqb.dll'. Read of address 00000000"

I have tried the usual, fresh re-install, upgraded to XP SP2, checked all my windows updates were correct, tried downloading and installing from a different location etc.

Weird thing is, I install the same download on a colleagues PC and all is ok, connecting to the same servers. At one time the Query Browser worked on my PC, then one morning it just stopped.

How to repeat:
Perhaps try installing Query Browser on a similar platform to mine. Dell Precision 360, 512mb RAM, Windows XP Pro SP2, NVidia Quadro NVS...

Suggested fix:
No idea I'm afraid. I wish I knew... :(

Similar problem occured with me as well. I'm afraid I can't simplify the test case,
I've solved it by deleting all the files in C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\MySQL and reinstalling QB. This seems to clear it's history logs and unables it the reference illegal memory space?
