Description:
Installation of Connector/Python 8.0.6 using DMG (then pkg file) failed on macOS Sierra. Installer saying "Package is incompatible with this version of OS X...", then it attempts installation but fails at the end.

macOS 10.12 is still listed as supported OS, we should be able to use Connector/Python 8.0.6.

How to repeat:
Run installer with pkg file.

This bug was fixed by recent DMG packaging changes. Note that MacOS Sierra is not supported anymore. Thanks for the bug report.

It's unclear when exactly this bug was fixed, but it may have been in 8.0.27 when the macOS build system was rewritten.

As this bug is no longer present (both fixed, and Sierra is no longer support), setting this bug status to closed. We're sorry for the delayed response, but thanks for the report Ryusuke!
