Hi! I don't see the need for this change as the same thing can be done by: $ rpmbuild --rebuild --define 'dist .mybuild.el7' mysql-community-5.7.21-1.el7.src.rpm` Which will produce file names like mysql-community-server-5.7.20-1.mybuild.el7.x86_64.rpm exactly as reporter wants.
