Description:
A feature found in mysqlcc, which highlighted the contents of a prenthesis set when your cursor was on any beginning or ending parenthesis. EXTREMELY helpful feature for more complicated queries; in fact I keep mysqlcc around just to debug my over- or under-parenthesized functions in the Q Browser.

How to repeat:
n/a

Suggested fix:
Implementing this great feature should do the trick.

Hello. Any updates on this feature request that I made? If it is being implemented in a future version, is there a timetable for its release?

Thanks.

We plan to include this in QB 2.0. We are also trying to get support for this in the Workbench.

But we do not know yet if we can use the editor component that does support that (and much more) because of legal issues. So, if we can use that editor component, it will be in all GUI tools, soon.
