Description:
When I'm creating a new MySQL model (or opening one), I can't see the EER diagram. The workspace freezes and last overlaying screen is shown on the workspace.

When I try to open the tab with the model itself, that screen is working just fine, all tables are showing, tables are editable, but returning to the EER diagram shows only the toolbar of the diagram. The workspace itself if filled with the view of last tab (which isn't editable then ofcourse).

How to repeat:
I don't know how to answer this, it occurs on every mwb file I open or on every newly created file.

files sent to a co worker work fine on his MySQL workbench.

Please provide a model file which freezes for you so we can test too. Thanks.

I believe this is a display driver issue. I have two monitors attached to my laptop - one is the native display and the other is a USB3 display adapter which uses a Trigger chipset and driver (StarTech USB32VGAES).
The diagrams render fine on the native monitor, but exhibit the problems you describe exactly on the USB driven monitor.

Good afternoon,

Roger Kaplan has right : I have the same issue.

The EER Diagram is correctly displayed on my laptop.

BUT when I used 2 external monitors attached to my laptop by using USB 3 Hub : I'm not able to display the Diagram correctly.

Thanks

Same issue. MySQL Workbench v8 running on a Windows10 Enterprise 1909 HP ELiteBook 840 G5 laptop. Any idea how to solve the issue?
