Thank you for the bug report. Which kind of connection are you using?. I couldn't repeat connecting remote on local network and other local host connection.

It crashes even if I connect to two different databases on the same local server. If I close the first connection before opening a new one it doesn't crash. The local server that I'm using is MariaDB 10.2. Let me know if you need any configuration files or other info.

I have this same issue. Are you saying MySQL Workbench does not support Maria DB connections? Because that would be a real bummer.
