Description:
Yesterday, I was using MySQL Workbench and my screen froze for a couple of seconds, then Workbench stopped working. I have tried everything I can think of to get it working again with no success.
I have reinstalled the MySQL Workbench Application. It installed ok but the application will still not start.
I tried starting it from the command line. It still won't start.
I tried starting and stopping the server. The server started ok but Workbench still doesn't start.
I tried checking if Workbench showed up in applications in the Task Manager. It shows that it is running. I then ended the instance, and tried starting it again from both the application menu and the command line. Both failed.
I tried uninstalling the entirety of MySQL including all constituent applications then reinstalling them. Everything seemed to install ok but when I tried Workbench, nothing started.
I have a very important job to do for a client and I cannot now complete it or show the client what progress has been made, so any help you can give with this is highly appreciated.

How to repeat:
Every time I try to start Workbench, I get a blank screen and the application does not start.
It does show up in the task manager though.
Each time, I end the task, and try to restart it I get the same issue. The application does not start.
