Description:
I want to get tarball of source to install it from source, but there is no such thing in download page:

https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/python/

How to repeat:
Go to download page and select "Source Code" from drop-down list

Thank you for the report.
Connector/Python source distributions are platform independent and can be used on any platform.

So source codes are not under "Source Code" but "Platform Independent".
Then, report can be safely closed.
