Description:
Uninstalling MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE from Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit leaves behind 28 entries in the Windows Registry.

How to repeat:
1. Use Piriform CCleaner (or equivalent) to scan and resolve any Windows Registry issues beforehand.

2. Uninstall MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE from Windows and use Piriform CCleaner (or equivalent) to scan the Windows Registry for Installer Reference Issues.

Result: 28 leftover Installer Reference Issues present in Windows Registry

Suggested fix:
The MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE uninstaller should clean up this mess.

This issue applies to the legacy MySQL Workbench 8.x implementation that is no longer supported or maintained.
MySQL Workbench 26.7 is a complete rewrite using a new technology stack and does not use the affected legacy implementation.
Therefore, this issue is not applicable to the current MySQL Workbench product and as such is closed.
