Description:
The 8.0.1 installer finds vc++ 2015 runtime missing, says not to do anything, it is remedying the problem, but does nothing.

Installation proceeds only after vc++2015 runtime redistributable is separately downloaded and installed.

How to repeat:
As above

Suggested fix:

Thank you for the bug report.
As per user manual "MySQL 8.0 requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package to run on Windows platforms. Users should make sure the package has been installed on the system before starting the server"

Thank you for your feedback.
In the requirement details it is showing "The installer is trying to automatically resolve this requirement. There is nothing you  need to do.".
After click on Execute button it is taking automatically to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime 64 bit".

As I reported, it does nothing. Sits there for 20 mins till I end it.
