Description:
When I try to install Mysql 5.7 on windows server 2003 (32 bit system), the install fails and complains about mysqld.exe being not a valid win32 application.

Investigating lead me to discover that *every* executable in bin directory does not run from command line, with the same error message.

I have tried to downloaded the installer again, and checked its md5 sum;
I have tried to install it in a directory path without spaces, to avoid problems related to https://lists.mysql.com/win32/14957

but got the same error

This is quite annoying as I really need to upgrade my sql server and I don't have any clue about how to do it

How to repeat:
try to install mysql server 5.7 on windows server 2003 (32bit)

Thank you for the bug report. Windows Server 2003 isn't more supported for that MySQL version:
