Description:
in the eer diagram view, after i made my eer diagram I try to 'forward engineer' it to the DB, when I select the 'forward engineer' option nothing happens, no popup dialog box.

also in the eer diagram view, the catalog tree doesn't display the names of the elements, it just shows the structure, when I double click an element it does show all the properties correctly.

How to repeat:
just select the option 'forward engineer' and nothing happens.

and see the catalog tab that the names of the elements do not show

This is marked as non-critical. Is there a workaround to run the deploy / forward engineer for the time being?
Thanks !

I am having the same issue on Mac OS X 10.11.6. As a *partial* workaround I've been able to use the "Synchronize Model" feature for all of my changes so far on a database that has already been created. Perhaps creating a blank DB and using the Synchronize Model would work for those wanting similar functionality to the "Forward Engineer".

Hello,

Can we please get an update on this one ?

Thank you !

I believe the workaround is incomplete. I wish to insert records while I forward engineer and I believe there's no workaround for that.

How can this not be a critical issue ?

If I want to reset my dev environment, then this is a critical functionality.

If you have some default data, which needs to be inserted as well, then this will help so much.
