This has been reported in Bug #75293 

It has not been assigned and no work seems to be being done to fix it

I am trying to demo this to my company and the NoSQL part is an important part of it (as we use node.js processes to update)

Currently it is unusable, I have co located it on data nodes and it kills the data node performance the first time you use it (CPU 100%)

I have set it as critical as there is no workround and you basically cant use the NoSQL functionality as its slower than using the SQL API

How to repeat:
Just install 7.5.5 and the memcached component as per the docs and just connect with telnet and insert one row into any of the demo tables

Bug #75293 is already in verified state, even if you feel that version is newer, the resolution is likely to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.
