Setting to feature request since this isn't a bug, but we will definitely have full Stretch support :)

Posted by developer: Server 5.6.36, 5.7.18 and 8.0.1 are now available for Stretch on repo.mysql.com (and supported by apt-config). Note that since Stretch has not been released we can't offer full support (but they are of course tested, and since it's in full freeze we don't anticipate any issues), so they are recommended for testing only.
