Workbench crash on attempt to open an model created with de previous version.

I have the same problem, and it's not only when open a model created with a previous versión. When i try to save new model recive the same error message.

The same error, can't open anyting.

OS: Linux
Dist: Arch

Broken version:
sudo pacman -U mysql-workbench-6.3.9-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz 

Working version:
sudo pacman -U mysql-workbench-6.3.8-7-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

Setting the environment variable LC_ALL=C or LANG=C doesn't work.

After long days and no soluction for this problem... 

I attempt to change my default language to english and.... He is live!

Go to the works fine for me:

1 - edit: /etc/locale.gen 
Find and uncoment line like this: 
#en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8

Save end close file

2 - run: sudo locale-gen
Generating locales...
  en_US.UTF-8... done
  pt_BR.UTF-8... done
Generation complete.

3 - nope, is only this!!

Mysql Workbench running without errors! I feel good!!

I've had the exact same error on Arch i3. Switching my locale to en_US in /etc/locale.gen and running `locale-gen` solved it for me.
