Description:
Unable to add user account in Workbench. On apply, an error dialog pops up saying invalid authentication plugin. MySQL 5.7.7.

How to repeat:
In workbench, add user, standard, %, password. click apply.

I have screenshots, but don't see any way to attach them.

I've zipped them and placed them here:

[6 Feb 2017 6:07] MySQL Verification Team
Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Unfortunately you are not using a current version of the product you reported a problem with -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new version MySQL Workbench 6.3.8 from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions, please change the version on this bug report to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for your continued support of MySQL.
