The character that I use is "⚠" (UTF-8 warning sign). When you edit the connection name the character appears as expected but in "MySQL Connections" panel is not.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes the symbol ⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠ isn't displayed correctly in the connection name in the home screen.
