Description:
This is not serious bug, only a bit annoying. Everytime I create a schema, the collation changed to something else.

I tried with phpmyadmin, it's working correctly there, so I think the problem is from the workbench.

How to repeat:
1. Create a new schema
2. Choose 'utf8mb4_unicode_ci'
3. View the new schema using schema inspector, it shows 'utf8mb4_general_ci'

This issue applies to the legacy MySQL Workbench 8.x implementation that is no longer supported or maintained.
MySQL Workbench 26.7 is a complete rewrite using a new technology stack and does not use the affected legacy implementation.
Therefore, this issue is not applicable to the current MySQL Workbench product and as such is closed.
