Description:
----[For better reports, please attach the log file after submitting. You can find it in C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench\log\wb.log]

in the workbench i stopped the mysql services.
i restart the workbench and..
after starting the workbench , i see a green arrow on the right side which look likes the server is running. but it is not.
also in tab managment start/stop i see green text "running"
and only a stop button is visual.

so i need to click on stop again and after that the button is changed to ""start server""

How to repeat:
same as above

Suggested fix:
create a default status like "unknown" and after communication change it to running or stopped

This issue applies to the legacy MySQL Workbench 8.x implementation that is no longer supported or maintained.
MySQL Workbench 26.7 is a complete rewrite using a new technology stack and does not use the affected legacy implementation.
Therefore, this issue is not applicable to the current MySQL Workbench product and as such is closed.
