Description:
Till few days back workbench was working fine, but now whenever i open workbench and execute a simple query the loader start rotating and continues to rotate for a long time. 
i have to force quit workbench every time.

How to repeat:
Just open the workbench and try to execute a simple query like (SELECT * ....)

Are you using 6.3.7 version?

No, it was happening on 6.3.6. Upgrading to 6.3.7 worked for me
