Description:

Server crashes when opening database.

Access violation mysqld_nt: 0x001346C4

How to repeat:
I installed 5.0.2 on windows XP, and took all the defaults. I wanted to play around with a GUI based client, so downloaded and installed demo Navicat 2004.
I created a new connection ( localhost, 3306 ), clicked "test connection", which succeeded. I clicked on the connection, which then shows the two databases, mysql and test. If I click on either database, I get an hourglass and a few seconds later, the standard "this application has encountered a problem and must close".

I then installed 4.1.9 ( localhost, 3419 ). Everything works perfect. Even if Navicat is doing something wrong, it shouldn't crash the server, right?

mysql is installed as a service in both cases. I can send you the minidump if necessary.
