Hi, We only supply packages for released Ubuntu platforms, so no yakkety packages are available yet. Xenial packages should be available with the next release, so once that is out you can try replacing "yakkety" with "xenial" in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mysql.list (but note that we can't guarantee Ubuntu 16.04 packages will work on 16.10).

Hi André verwijs, Did you try as Lars suggested? As we only supply packages for released Ubuntu platforms, so no yakkety packages are available yet. Marking this as !bg for now and if you encounter any issues with Xenial packages then feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to 'Open'. Thank you for your interest in MySQL. Thanks, Umesh
