Thank you for the bug report. Probably related with others bugs reported when handling Manage Connections just a little different.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 8.0.11 release, and here's the changelog entry:

Attempting to store a password in the vault from the Manage Server
Connections window on a Windows host caused MySQL Workbench to become
unresponsive.
