Description:
The documentation states that the download for the mySQL ODBC driver will give 2 choices: one for ANSI version and one for UNICODE.
However trying to download the driver, there is only one - 5.3 ANSI version.

Confirmed by first looking at the file name, then downloading the driver and trying to install it. One of the pages says It installs ANSI driver. No mentions of UNICODE.

Please give the UNICODE ODBC driver version out for download with the appropriate name according to the documentation.

How to repeat:
1. Go to the https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.3.html.
2. Observe that the only possibilities are ANSI drivers. No UNICODE version is available.

Suggested fix:
Make the appropriate version available for download.

Hi, Miguel,
Thank you for the screenshot.
However, the documentation at https://dev.mysql.com/doc/connector-odbc/en/connector-odbc-installation.html needs to be updated to state that there is only one file for download which will contain both ANSI and UNICODE versions of the driver.
That where the quote section of the bug came from.

Please fix as the information is misleading.

Also, just out of curiosity - is there a reason you have 2 versions of the driver and not one where both ANSI and UNICODE functions are defined? This is just FMY.

Thank you.

Changing the status to "Open" as I believe the "Download" page should match what the documentation page says.
