"Global transaction identifiers (GTIDs) are automatically disabled whenever --bootstrap is used (Bug #13992602). See Section 17.1.3, “Replication with Global Transaction Identifiers”."

But https://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/5.7/en/news-5-7-8.html:

"Replication: In MySQL 5.7.7 and earlier, GTIDs were automatically disabled whenever --initialize or --bootstrap were enabled. In MySQL 5.7.8 and later GTIDs are not disabled when --initialize or --bootstrap are enabled. (Bug #20980271)"
