Hello Philip Day, Thank you for the bug report. I could not see any issue to download MySQL 5.6.20 and 5.6.28 version. Please download MySQL latest version http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.6.html#downloads Thanks, Chiranjeevi.

How do I choose that version? The installer app does not seem to give me a choice and goes for 5.6.21.

Thanks Chiranjeevi, the download step in the installer works at least (5.6.28 from your first link). Now... what product do I have to install to be able to use MySQL locally e.g. with SQLyog? I followed the standard steps and it doesn't seem to lead me to settng up a local connection which I recall happened in a previous version when I set it up on my old laptop. Any guidance on what to do next much appreciated. Many thanks.
