Description:
As my comment about the slow connection speed of Connector/J with MySQL Fabric at http://mysqlhighavailability.com/announcing-mysql-fabric-1-5-5-ga-is-available/#comment-13..., Paulo Jesus replies that using a connection pool should help avoid the issue. However, the documentation lacks usage of Connector/J with Fabric and connection pool.
