Description:
In the old online manual design the links to older version
would link to the oldest version that actually had that 
feature/page, e.g. when looking at a feature page for
5.6 where the feature was only introduced in 5.5 the
5.1 version link would actually link to the 5.5 version.

In the new design selecting a version where the page doesn't
exist yet you'll end up on the start page of the manual version
you selected instead.

Both the old and new manual deigns functionalities are
confusing.

How to repeat:
For example go to the "SHOW CREATE USER" page in the 5.7 manual

  http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/show-create-user.html

then select any other version from the version drop down in the
upper right. You will end up on that versions start page instead.

Suggested fix:
Only show those versions in the version select drop down for which a version of the current page actually exists

Have a look at e.g. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/sys-schema.html and try to switch to 5.6 or any other version.

Yes, there's a tooltip now, but I can still click the 5.6 link and end up on the 5.6 start page http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/ 

If I'm really quick I can even click the link *before* the tooltip pops up.

So this is only half-fixed ...

Please file a new bug about the tooltip instead to reopen this already closed bug. Thanks in advance.
