Description:
This is a brand new installation on a laptop.
Installation process completed successfully, without issues.

In MySQL Workbench going to the 'Database' - 'Connect to Database' menu, then clicking OK button causes the error message in the subject, then Workbench crashes.

The same error message, followed by a crash, occurs when from the MySQL Notifier icon in the taskbar I choose the commands 'Configure Instance...' or 'SQL Editor'.
